Rapier

Rapier Prize Tourney

Schedule: TBA

Rules: Format will be single or double round robin, fights will be either single pass or best two out of three, all depending on number of participants. Top two fighters from each pool will then face off in semi-finals (best 2 out of 3), and then onto the finals (best 2 out of 3).

Prize: Prize will be a black walnut rubber band gun pistol made by Bohemond Reynard de Gervais.

Ransom Tourney (previously titled as “Holmgang”)

Schedule: TBA

Rules: Fighters need to bring a small prize to contribute to the pool (try to keep the value below 15 USD). Fighters will be able to pick their pairings, face off in the list field (single pass), and the winner is given a single token from the marshal to denote their victory in the round. Fighters would be well encouraged to have some manner of purse or coin bag on their person to store these tokens.

Prize: After the Ransom Tourney is complete, prizes will be distributed via a “white elephant” prize exchange. As it will be acceptable to take another’s prize, the choosing of prizes will start with the person who won the least amount of fights, and move on from there. Should anyone’s prize of choice be taken, they then may take one from another person.
