We will have four heavy tournaments this year. All will take place on the main list fields with armor inspection before each tournament.
Never Won a Tourney Tourney (NWATT) — Saturday morning. Best 2 out of 3 double elimination.
Armored Combat Holmgang — Saturday afternoon, prize a wooden chest by Sir Antoine and Archos Eoghan. Fighters will pair off on designated ice floes marked out on the list field. The fighters will fight until one of each pair is victorious. If fighters step outside of the marked ice sheet, they lose the fight. These bouts will be run simultaneously with one entry line feeding the six designated ice sheets. The fighter with the most victories when time expires wins.
The 50th Egil Skallagromsson Memorial Tournament on Sunday morning, best 2 out of 3 double elimination. The prize is a hand riveted mail hauberk in the style portrayed in the Bayeux Tapestry. Made by the Honorable John Wayland, it contains approximately 44,000 rings assembled in over 1,000 hours of work over the past nine months.
Tourney in Honor of Viscount Ambrose Mavrovothakis, KSCA— Sunday afternoon, prize a custom, hand painted silk heraldic banner by Dame Johanna Trewpeny. Double Round Robin. Person holding the field will fight sword and oval shield. Final four will fight poleaxes to 12 counted blows. Finals will be long sword best 5 out of 9.
