While there is no electrical service to Lynx Hollow Park, two encampments have offered to make their generators available by appointment for recharging a medical device – scooter / wheelchair / CPAP batteries – if your generator fails.
Please email the event at [email protected] and put ‘generator access’ in the subject line. We will connect you with their camp masters and you can take it from there. Be aware that both camps are down the road east of the meadow, the opposite end of the site from the entrance.
Generator use is free, though donations toward fuel will be gratefully accepted from the populace so inclined. Please note: the generators are reserved to medical devices such as scooters / wheelchairs / and CPAP machines. They are not available for casual use to charge phones, tablets, laptops, and similar personal devices.
No. The Oregon Parks & Recreation Dept. has specified that this is a no smoking park. Egil’s event policy forbids vaping/e-cigs and spitting of chew anywhere. Oregon state forbids smoking. You may smoke/vape inside your parked car or along Davisson Rd. beyond the park entrance.
“Participants within the SCA should always observe courtesy with their use of any product that produces smoke or vapor. Both tobacco and marijuana smoke can be harmful to others and exposure.” (SCA Seneschal’s Handbook)
This is a no smoking site, so smoking marijuana (or anything else) is not allowed. Otherwise, Oregon state laws apply and the event has no further restrictions.
