Egils Pre-registration
As you’ve no doubt heard, there are two events this year: Egils (regular event) and Pregils (the 5 days before Egils). You may pre-register for one, the other, or both.
Pregils: May 18 – 22, Egils: May 22-25

Minors (0-17) are free.
Please note that during Pregils (May 18 – 22) event fees must be paid by cash or check. There will be no electronic payment available at gate.
There is no family cap, as minors are free. (A family consists of two adults and their minor dependents (children/wards).
There is no fee for pets. Dogs, cats, and non-livestock birds only. All cats and dogs must show proof at gate that their rabies vaccination is current (a rabies tag, paperwork with the date of inoculation with a statement of how long it lasts, etc.)
If you pre-register as a member but your membership lapses between pre-registration and the event, you will be required to present proof of current membership at gate or pay the additional non-member fee.
Pre-registration
Preregistration will open February 9, 2026. Castrorum will be used again this year for both pre-registration and land requests. Go to www.castrorum.com/events/13/details to preregister. If you are not camping, see the bottom of this page for information about nearby hotels.
If you are having problems creating or accessing a Castrorum account, please contact [email protected]. The Egil’s Tourney pre-reg team does not have the access needed to deal with those issues.
Pre-registration will close at midnight May 12. ALL payments must be received/completed by May 14.
You should have membership information available when you begin the process. You may register for either or both events—the preregistration process is the same.

Checks are due 10 days after preregistration is complete OR by May 14, whichever is earlier.
PayPal invoices will be sent by the Pre-registration staff and will be due within 10 days of the invoice OR by midnight May 14th, whichever is earlier.
If you are eligible to have your entry fee comped, please state the basis on which you’re to be comped in the comment section of your pre-registration.
Land allocation
As in prior years, land allocated will be determined by your pre-registration date.
Pre-registration received by midnight March 31 will receive 300 sq. ft. per adult.
Pre-registrations received after March 31 but before midnight April 20th will receive 250 sq. ft. per adult.
Pre-registered minors will receive an additional 100 sq. ft. each.
PRE-REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER APRIL 20TH WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY LAND. This is to facilitate the coordination and mapping by the Lands Staff. You may pre-register for the event between April 21 and May 12; there will be open general camping available on a first come, first served basis.
If you have a specific need for more land than what your groups allotment works out to be, or have any other land related questions, contact the Land Steward at [email protected] and they will do their best to accommodate you. A final layout will be made in early May, and will be available at gate when you check in. Please note that youths and children MUST be pre-registered to receive land allocation.

Apr. 20, Mon., 11:59 pm – Pre-reg with smaller land allotment (250 sq. ft. /person) closes
May 12, Tues., 11:59 pm – Pre-reg without a land allotment closes
May 14, Thurs., 11:59 pm – All payments must be completed or the pre-reg and any land allotment is cancelled
May 18, noon – Gate opens
Camp and campmaster information
The first person who registers a camp will be automatically designated campmaster. This can be changed: contact [email protected] with your request and information.
RVs must camp in the parking lot unless you request a disabled RV camping slot. Please use the comment section in Castrorum for these requests. Please include RV size and information. These spaces are limited.
