For the archers, we have a beautiful recurve bow for period archery donated by John Wayland. We have wonderful Lantern for the Candle Light Shoot donated by Wilhelm der Munech.
For our Thrown Weapons we will have an amazing Spear Head with a leather cover donated by Alan Bowyer.
For armored combat there will be among other things, A beautiful Maple Danteska Chair made by Alan Bowyer and a gorgeous Glaive donated by Sverre Tjorkillson.
For our Rapier and Cut and Thrust Fighters, there will be a stunning Black walnut rubber band gun pistol, a one-off rapier handle, a unique target shield and lastly, but not least, a defensive offhand staff styled as an ax all crafted by the hands of Bohemond Reynard de Gervais.
For our artisans, For the Costume Accessories Contest we will have stunning piece brocade fabric of silk and rayon woven in a pattern from the Byzantine period. For those entering the decorated useful object contest we have an unfinished horn donated by Alan Bowyer. For the Voyage Cooking Contest, the prize will be a fabulous cutting board made by Alan Bowyer.
For our brewers and spirit makers, there are 3 competitions! The infused cordial contest will have a book; Liquer: A Global History and handmade glass bottle. The fermented fruit or honey beverage(wine or mead) prize is a book; Ancient Wine: The Search for the Origins of Viniculture and a ceramic bottle. The prize for the Grain-Based Beverage Contest (brewing contest) will be a book; Ancient Brew Rediscovered and a ceramic bottle.
And for our volunteers we will have an assortment of wonderful items for them to win in a raffle. One ticket for each hour or part of an hour worked. Only enter for the items you actually would like to win.
