These schedules are probably what will happen at the event, but last minute changes will always happen (3 just happened today!). We will update this online posting until Tuesday, May 21. You can check in with the area you are interested in – Lists, Archery, Thrown Weapons, A&S – once you get to site to see if anything you want to do has changed.

Arts & Sciences Schedule

We also have two demonstrations that continue all day under their own pop-ups:

Create a rolled felt rug from wool to walkable, Vivien NicUldoon

Cold Work Armoring, Brizio de Maroni Carazzaio. Four demos with discussion, in his pop-up:

#1. How to make rolled edges, explore different rolled edges and how to achieve them. Round, triangle, and roped rolls. Saturday, 10-noon.

#2. Patterning 15c German Gothic elbows with medieval geometry.  One measurement, compass, and straight edge layout the pattern, with tips on how to shape. Saturday, 3-5 pm

#3.  Articulations. How to do elbow and knee joints with a good range of motion and little gapping. Sunday, 10 – noon.

#4. Basics of fluting. Options on stakes and hammers along with basic techniques and concepts. Sunday, 3-5 p.m.

On the A&S schedules:

G – before a listing means this is a geek session. Show up at the beginning or anytime within the posted duration to join the conversation. You can sign up for these if you’re really interested so that the host knows how many folks to expect.

D – before a listing means this is a demonstration. Come by any time during the posted duration to see what’s going on

Nothing before a listing means that this is a class and you need to sign up for it between 4 and 8 pm Friday, May 24, or from 9 am – 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. Even if the class is full, you can always ask the teacher if you can silently observe. Please respect their wishes if they don’t want the classroom space too crowded.
